November 20, 2024, is a milestone we’re incredibly excited to celebrate with you. It’s been one year since Tealinc LLC ownership changed as we became part of a larger privately-held, family-owned financing firm. This transition has been a thrilling journey for us, with fresh resources and opportunities to build on the legacy that Darell Luther and his family spent over 20 years creating. Our foundational vision for connecting rail shippers with the right railcar equipment and making railcar leasing and rail transportation remains our legacy. With new ownership comes fresh energy, greater resources, and exciting opportunities.
With new ownership comes our new chapter. We’re still Tealinc, just with even more tools and flexibility to support you. Whether you're looking to lease, sell, buy, or trade railcars. It's been an exciting ride, and we’re so grateful to have so many industry partners along with us.
What’s Changed—and What Hasn’t
For starters, we’re now officially Tealinc LLC! Not much of a name change but a slight variation. The same trusted team is still here. Darell Luther (CEO), Shannon Rodgers (Director: Railcar Services), Yvonne Lufborough (Director: Accounting & Finance), and me (Julie Mink, President) and we remain as dedicated to customer and vendor success as ever. We’ve also added fresh energy to the mix. Early this year, Nate Chilton joined us as Director: Railcar Leasing & Sales. Nate’s experience in the rail market is a big asset to us, and he shares our commitment to delivering real value to each of you.
And thanks to our new ownership, we have increased capital to grow and diversify our railcar fleet and increase our capabilities, which means we’re better positioned to serve you, whether that’s through purchasing, leasing, or optimizing your railcar fleet.
